Mount Fuji is quite illusive & the view is often obstructed by clouds & visibility is close to zero. It would be best to stay around the Five Lakes or Fujigoko region at the northern foot of the mountain. You stand a better chance of seeing this shy maiden during the colder seasons like Spring & Winter & either early in the morning or late evening hours.
