A lovely ‘pit stop’ enroute to the Great Ocean Road from Melbourne, Victoria
Café Go has an unassuming & outback kind of look & feel
I fell in love with the charming little cafĂ© the moment I stepped inside, could this be Geelong’s best kept secret?
In my pre-trip planning, Café Go in Geelong was on the cards for brunch & I was keeping my fingers crossed that it would be a good choice
This place has such a warm & welcoming ambience…. feels so comfortable here
It was a bit chilly even though the sun was up & we picked a table indoors just by the fireplace, looking right into this lush & cosy courtyard
A warm fireplace & quirky displays on the mantelpiece…. CafĂ© Go is such an interesting place
Thumbs up for the recycled paper lamps & artworks painted on wood on display & for sale
Upon ordering & paying the friendly waitress hands over a plush zebra much to my surprise… a freebie? No…. it is a table marker & such a neat idea
A yummy Tuna Sandwich with lots of greens
Panini with Lamb, Roasted Eggplant, Za’atar Spice, Preserved Lemon Fetta & Yoghurt…. totally delicious
Spring Fritters with Spinach, Peas & Zucchini, topped with Fried Eggs paired with a Tomato, Avocado & Coriander Salsa…. I was blown away by this tasty & hearty brekkie. Great start to my Great Ocean Road escapade!
